Tune Up Your EQ

How To Maintain A Consistent Emotional Intelligence Focus

How could I turn my visit to all the blogs on Priscilla Palmers Personal Development Blog list (approximately 250 blogs) into an experience that can help Tune up your EQ readers? I looked for blogs that had good, practical information to develop your understanding of emotions and improve your emotional intelligence. Here are my top 5 picks.

What Are Emotions, Anyway?

Kevin Kinchen’s article E-motion explians exactly what emotions are and why they are so powerful. He shows that emotions and The Law of Attraction (popularised recetnly by the film and DVD The Secret) are closely connected.

Who Am I?

Karl Staib of the Mind and Body Health Blog gives you a great 4 part series of articles about awareness. Remember, self-awareness is the cornerstone of your emotional intelligence.

When you know yourself, you know your core values. Carlon Haas’ of Possess Less, Exist More Discovering Your Core Values: How To Figure Out What You Stand For shows you how to achieve such clarity.

To stay on track, you need to give yourself time to reflect. Over at the A Miracle A Day Blog, Jason shows youWhy It’s Hard To Have Peace Without Quiet He clearly describes why the act of calming your mind is such a powerful practice.

Finally, Dr. Joe Vitale at Zero asks the intruiging question:What’s In Your Mirror?> He vividly demonstrates that every picture tells a story.

These articles will give you insights, tips and information that will improve your emotional intelligence and I hope you’ll find them useful. Do let me know what you think.

Also, have a look at the full list and read other articles. There are lots of gems there. Priscilla’s blog has a Google search box where you can do keyword searches on all the blogs on the list. This cool tool was developed by Chris Marshall of Martial Development.
