The perils of a knee jerk reaction

When your behaviour is controlled by external events, for example, what other people say or do to you, your response is predictable and often dysfunctional. When you make a linear and disempowered response to a stimulus you undermine your quality of life.
A better way
Your quality of life will be transformed when you accept, and act on the reality that you always have choices about how you react to external influences. When you make your choices mindfully, you become more versatile. Your insight that you have choices empowers you.
